Progression Display Entrant Rules

You must preregister using the form above.

You can either enter pictures or physical items in this display.

Since the theme is "From Beginning to Mastery" we want to see how art & artists travel through the creation process.

There are two types of progression that you can show:

  1. The progression of a project from start to finish â€‹

  2. The progression of your skill over time

- 1 -

Project start > finish example: If you are a bookbinder, you could show the populace the stages of a Gothic book. You can show as many or as few stages as you would like.

  • It may start with the creation of the book block with folded paper
  • Then you would have a step with sewing on the end bands.

  • Then pressing the book.

  • And last, covering the book with leather

- 2 -

Show how you've improved: This would be a display of your early work(s), a few intermediary works (if possible), and your latest work. For example:

  • Scribes may be able to show pictures of their first scrolls to their current scrolls

  • Costumers may have an example/picture of their first T-Tunic.

Judges and entrants please pre-register here by Jan 20th!
